And what does this warning mean ''warning: Unit FixedConversionReactor_2 is not in mass balance" ?

The mass balance warning indicated that the total amount of mass entering the unit does not equal the total amount of mass leaving the unit. This indicates that there is a problem with the unit. You can see the mass balance details if you double click the unit and go to the balance page.

Which reaction did you specify? Is the reaction properly balanced?

What does this error indicate "Unit "PFR_64": calculate failed for unit PFR_64: TP flash failed: CalcEquilibrium failed: Invalid mass balance after equilibrium calculation"??
How do I resolve this error while using PFR??
please give a brief description.

You have configured your reaction rate as 100 mol/s/m3 irrespective of the amounts of SO2 and O2 actually present. If you plot flow rate along the reactor you will see that the reactants run very near the entry, but with your reaction formulation the reaction will continue at 100 mol/s/m3. Hence, CO2 and O2 are present at negative amounts, total flow becomes negative, the reactor tries to flash the stream at negative flow rate and COFE does (rightly) not allow for it.

It makes more sense to formulate your reaction rate as a function of the amount of SO2 and O2 present (and temperature?)

Why do you have multiple reaction packges in your document?

I have multiple reaction packages because there are further more additions to be made my flowsheet.
