Posted: 05 June 2018, 12:19The went back to addressing the topic of the energy balance within a reactor unit operation when the thermodynamic server and the reaction server may be inconsistent, for instance in the values for standard heats of formation of the compounds involved in reactions. This pertains to the review of the conducted by the Thermo SIG.
In order to assess what communication is needed between the software components involved, and hence any need for additional properties or methods, an example started by was expanded in order to figure out the sequence of actions taking place. Not yet with a complete grasp of the many possible cases.
