Distillation with recycle

Hi. Was wondering how do l estimate the parameters of a recycle stream in a distillation with recycle. Is there any tutorial link l can get with such information. Thanks

Either you may point your question to Aspentech Support or you may want to give a look in the recently published book “Chemical Process Design and Simulation: Aspen Plus and Aspen Hysys Applications” by Juma Haydary.

This forum is looked into sometimes by Aspentech employees but I would not count on this being the fastest way to get an answer.

At the same time your question may not be that much related to Aspen Plus. You may encounter the same issue in any process simulator working with a sequential approach. Harry KOOIJMAN and Ross TAYLOR from ChemSep can then also be of help there. Give a try to ChemSep in COFE for the process you simulate in Aspen Plus. You will be then able to ask your questions and get answers in the CAPE-OPEN forum related to COFE/ChemSep.
